BEAST OF THE CHILTERN HILLS

Oxfordshire, Summer 2025

Commissioned by a private client for a family celebration, The Beast of The Chiltern Hills was an installation made from discarded wood, off cuts and fallen foraged branches, decorated with strings of dried carnations and strawflowers.

Four metres high and six metres in length, the beast was designed and made to be set alight, a flaming beacon visible for miles around from its hill top position.
